Vancouver Island event: Day Sail on a Warship with the Royal Canadian Navy - CFB Esquimalt departure: Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019

Eligible women & girls who apply here: www.achieveanything.ca/thisisyou.html  and are accepted, will JOIN US for an incredible, hands-on day at sea with the Royal Canadian Navy! Activities include tours of ship duty stations, crew quarters and operational equipment; RCAF helicopter joint search and rescue demonstration, ship firefighting simulation and demonstration of the warship’s impressive manoeuvring capabilities! Lunch will be provided on board.

Lower Mainland event: SAR and Environmental Response with the Canadian Coast Guard – Kitsilano Base Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019

Eligible women & girls who apply here: www.achieveanything.ca/thisisyou.html  and are accepted, will JOIN US for an incredible, hands-on day on shore and at sea with the Canadian Coast Guard! Activities include tours of base duty stations; donning of rescue gear & equipment; interactive search & rescue exercises including ride to sea on the CCG hovercraft; simulated incident command scenario; environmental containment, cleanup and de-watering of a simulated derelict vessel; opportunities to test drive CCG fast rescue craft. Bring your own lunch.

Applications to Operation: This IS You! events must be made in advance, and each eligible person desiring to attend must fill out her own application in her own words, using a unique email address she regularly has access to. Those selected/invited must complete the RSVP process by the appropriate deadline outlined in the invitation email in order to secure the invitation and gain access to the event.
