The Salt Spring Literacy Society is presenting a tutor training workshop in cooperation with the Salt Spring Public Library.  January 23rd 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Public Library Program Room. All community members who are interested in participating in the spring One to One children’s reading program are invited to attend.   The spring session runs from January 29 to May 3.   

Each One to One tutor is expected to volunteer from 1 – 1 ½   hours a week for twelve weeks.

The One to One program is hoping to recruit tutors for all four local elementary schools as well as a number of substitute tutors. Email: lshelly@saltspringliteracy.org or 250-537-9717
