A huge thank you to the great people who volunteered to help run the Fair. It means it can happen!

All proceeds go directly back to support reading!  When books are purchased, the school receives an amount it can use to buy new books on Teachers' classroom wish lists, for Learning Support Services and the Library. Last year over 200 books were added to the school as a result of the Fair. A huge thank you to Susan Davenport (Jack & Henry Lee's grandmother) who has volunteered to be the organizing chair for this year's book fair. Here is the schedule so you and your child know how it works:

Monday, November 14

Non Sale Day

Volunteers are in the Library during school hours to help kids and Teachers view books, posters and items. Students can write down books that they may be interested in reading.

Tuesday, November 15  (open late until 7:00 pm)

Fernwood Friends and Family Day

Classes will come in one by one to purchase their books throughout the day.

Friends and family will come in throughout day to make their purchases.

Wednesday, November 16 (8:30 to 3:45 pm)

School Sale Day

Parents and kids can come in throughout the school day to make their purchases.

Scholastic has provided a prize draw for $25 in books to a student and also $25 to their classroom.

Please explain to your child how to be responsible when carrying cash to and from school. Sending a child to school with their money in a baggie with their name on it is a good idea!
