Notes when there are changes: Bus information will continue to be collected by both the school and the drivers over the weeks to come. If your child is just starting to take the school bus it would be helpful to call the school or send a note to help the supervisor make sure your child gets home safely.  If there is a day when your child’s normal bus transportation arrangement changes, drivers have requested that a written note must be sent to school with your child. The note will then be passed on to the bus driver.

Grade K and 1 Contact Info in Backpack:  A second request is that any parent who has a child in Kindergarten or Grade 1, please include inside the child's backpack, a piece of paper that provides their child's name and parent's phone number. Kindergarten and Grade 1 students will not be permitted to disembark from the bus without a parent being present at the stop. The child stays on the bus and is escorted to the Bus Depot (the SD64 Maintenance Building on Rainbow Road). Kindergarten and Grade 1 students must have the contact information in their back pack at this point so staff at the Bus Depot can connect with their parents as soon as possible.
