We have been told by some families that there are suspected cases of chickenpox in their children.  This can be a very serious illness for young children, so if you suspect that your child has the chickenpox, please contact your doctor or the school/public health nurse right away 250-538-4880.  Vaccines are available by appointment.  For more information on chickenpox, please see this health file:

If your doctor informs you that your child has contracted chickenpox, please let the school know.
