Cupcakes for the SPCA! (This Monday)

Christie Roome, along with Corbin (in Ms Kennedy's class) and Hamish (in Ms Burgess's Class) are baking and selling cupcakes for the SPCA fundraiser that is happening on Salt Spring this month. If you are interested in sending your child with $2 to purchase a cupcake all money raised will go directly to our local Salt Spring SPCA and due to the generosity of an anonymous donor who will match the funds raised, not only will a cupcake be received and surely enjoyed, but your toonie will go twice as far to help find homes for surrendered or neglected animals and provide emergency care to sick or injured animals.   Cupcakes will be sold at Fernwood School on Monday, February 22nd at lunch.   Thanks to the Roome Family for participating in the SPCA  "Baking a Difference" campaign.  For more information on the fundraiser, visit http://support.spca.bc.ca/site/PageServer?pagename=Cupcake15_home&fr_id=1700
