FERNWOOD BIKE-TO-SCHOOL EVENT - WEDNESDAY, MAY 29th, 7:45am to 8:25am Ride or bring your bike to school this coming Wednesday and get a goody bag from Outspokin Bikes, enjoy free snacks and bike tune-ups from Sean Mulligan, and take your wheels for a tour around the blacktop before school begins. Volunteers from Island Pathways plus Jenny Redpath from Island Health will also be there sharing helmet discounts and great bikesafety tips and swag. The whole family is welcome! If you're interested in further advancing your bike skills, sign up for special bike-park workshops on Friday, May 31st at Mouat Park (ages 6-9 from 10:30am-noon; ages 10-12 from 1-3pm; pizza lunch for purchase in between).
