Keep on reading everyone! It is really hard not too read when we have great books like the beautifully illustrated Mike Deas' non-fiction books. I am a fan of Chris Hadfield so I am immediately drawn to this books by Mike first. Non-fiction is not Mike's only genre. He has graphic novels too and, yes, they are in our Fernwood library. The graphic novels are Dalen and Gole and the series Tank and Fizz. Once again this author and illustrator lives right here with us on gorgeous Salt Spring Island. I found this video of Mike's book being read by a very passion reader. You can read along with Dean or turn the volume down and read it on your own. (I have encouraged Mike to read the book too. I hope we have a video reading one his books some day soon.) Enjoy! |
