Sarah Grindler Reads Seaside Treasures

This book is read by Salt Spring Island's treasured writer and painter Sarah Grindler. You may remember that Sarah visited our school and read her beautiful book! Watch and listen to the story again as Sarah reads the book on the beach. If you can't get enough then you can find Sarah's book at Salt Spring Books and have it for keeps! This is a great book for gifting too. Enjoy.

(last week's news post...)
I have a library scavenger hunt or rather a Tumble Scavenger Hunt for Fernwood students to do. I want to see everyone reading and since books are limited at home these days I want to share with everyone the online features from our Salt Spring Public Library! Access to Tumble Books is free and you do not even need a library card to get online and read. This means you can get new books to read!!
I made a little scavenger hunt for everyone to use as they explore Tumble Books. Copy and paste it off the blog and email me or print it out. Fill it out. Email it to me jparker@sd64.org. I will put it in for a draw on May 31st. Go to https://www.janiceparker.org/post/tumble-scavenger-hunt
