Asthma Information from Island Health

We were asked to consider including the following information in our school newsletter...also please find attached pdf notice from Island Health:

Each year, approximately three weeks after elementary and middle school children return to school, there is a surge in the number of young children admitted to hospital with asthma.

Island Health is raising awareness of the back-to-school peak by providing facts and tips for parents on how to prepare for and help reduce the asthma flare-up. To quickly get this important information to parents, are you able to help by posting the attached asthma facts and tips information to your websites and/or including it in weekly  newsletters for parents of elementary and middle schools in your district? (The document has been approved by Asthma Canada.)

Thank you,

Debra
