Salt Spring Island Fire and Rescue would like to put out a challenge to help raise money for the Salt Spring Island Food Bank. Let's win the Christmas Ribbon Challenge!! There is a challenge to raise money for the food bank by decorating a Christmas tree with ribbons at the Fire Hall. There are 4 different colors of ribbons assigned each group as follows: Red - Fire Fighters Blue - RCMP/Ambulance/Search & Rescue Gold - Salt Spring Community GREEN - STUDENTS!! There is a $5.00 donation for each ribbon - let's make sure the tree is all GREEN and Gold ribbons!! We have until December 22nd to win the challenge and become the biggest fundraisers for the Food Bank!
