Families Understanding Early Learning (FUEL)

School District 64 and Salt Spring Literacy are partnering to provide a series of workshops for parents of children in Kindergarten to Grade 2. The
title of this 4-part series is Families Understanding Early Learning (FUEL). FUEL will include a variety of speakers and  topics including the importance of movement in brain development (physiotherapist, Judith Bradley), social emotional learning and self-regulation, and how to support your child in early literacy and math skills. Presenters will include Stella Weinert,
Robin Andison, Kathryn Akehurst and Janet Hoag

Each session will include a light dinner and child care provided in the ELF
room by an Early Childhood Educator and volunteers. This free program is
sponsored by Salt Spring Literacy and School District 64. *The sessions
will be held on Wednesdays from 5-7 pm, beginning April 29.  *

Pre-registration is necessary because we only have room for 15 families. If
