As we and SIMS endeavour to support grade five students as they transition from their “feeder” schools to the middle school a bridging event was arranged this week. Keiko Taylor, Principal, and Jude Shugar, Vice Principal, visited Fernwood Elementary Wednesday, April 29th to introduce themselves, conduct fun activities with the grade five students, and answer any questions that they might have.  They also met with parents at 3;00 pm.  Grade 5 Fernwood students travel to SIMS for a day of activities on May 13th.
