Grade 5 Graduation Ceremony and Strawberry Tea

Wednesday, June 26th, we had a ceremony for our Grade 5s. The gym was filled with loved ones who wished them well. Melissa Hingston, Alison Bain and Andrew McPhee, along with Ms Johnston and Ms Logan welcomed parents, remembered each student with fond memories and said goodbye to the families who are leaving Fernwood School. The ceremony was followed by a fun feast of strawberries and whipping cream and iced tea. We are sad to see them leave but wish them all the best for next year as they move on to Grade 6!

Thank you so much to the PAC  for supporting this special event for our Grade 5s! Beautiful long stemmed gerberas and roses were ordered from FoxGlove and heaps of strawberries and cream from Country Grocer. Special mention goes out to Grade 4 parent volunteers Rhea Miller, Tobias Horbas and Kiran Dhingra for helping set up the tea, slice strawberries, whip cream, decorate the room and make beautiful flower arrangements. Thank you!
