Hallowe'en Parade at Fernwood October 31 a.m.

On Hallowe'en, we usually have a costume parade from our classes to the gym to start the day off.  This is so that kids who are excited about their costume, get a chance to wear it.  We can start the parade at 8:40 a.m.  Then, we ask that the removable parts of the costume (wigs, masks, light sabers, etc) be removed for the learning part of the day.  Many classes celebrate with a class party in the afternoon and kids can put their costumes back on then if this takes place. We would prefer that students not wear costumes that are very scary - many of our youngest learners are very sensitive and scary masks can frighten them.
