 1.  Island Pathways 30th Aniversary Celebration Event  Saturday, June 23rd, starts at 10:00 am at the barn at the Farmers' Institute (FI).  There is parking at the FI but come early.  IF  the parking lot is full you will have to find other parking and walk a ways.  There is some parking across the road from the FI, on Atkins Rd., at the pool and school.

2.  There is a   Bicycle/Bike Helmet Decorating Contest from 10:30 to 11:00 .  There are  prizes for everyone.  Come with individually decorated bike or as a family.

3.  After the Bike Decorating Contest, Island Pathways is holding the Biggest Ever Scavenger Hunt in Salt Spring Islands History on the Community Pathways, starting in front of the Farmers ' Institute.  You may go by foot or by bicycle.   Using a car is not legal.  The idea is to get out on to the pathways and have fun.  All the details of how the Scavernger Hunt works and picking up your "passports" for the Scavenger Hunt will be at the Farmers'Institute at 10:00 am.

4.  Prizes for the Scavenger Hunt will be awarded at 1:30 pm at the Barn at the Farmer's Institute and there will be cake.  You must be in attendance to win.

5.  If you are participating in the Scavenger Hunt bring water (there are two refreshment tables on the pathways) and a lunch.

6.  Hope you join us in celebrating our 30th anniversary.

Thanks   Jean Gelwicks
