Hello everybody. I have selected two of my favourite books for you this week. One of them is serious and the other one is really silly.

The first book I love because it has beautiful illustrations and a message about the importance of generosity. The story is quite long, so please find a comfy place to listen.

Questions:

Why do you think the King was so unhappy and so unkind in the first part of the story? 

What was it that changed for the King that allowed him to be happy? 

Do you think you would ever be able to give away all of your belongings like the King did?

The next story I have for you is a favourite of mine because it is so goofy. It is called Stanley’s Party. I really miss reading and laughing with Fernwood students!
