If it ever snows and the bus Transportation Supervisor for the District decides that our Buses 4 and 5 will only operate due to safety on the Snow Schedule it means that Bus 4 will operate only travelling on Lower Ganges Road and North End Road, and Bus 5 will depart from Vesuvius Ferry and run along Vesuvius Road and then turn up North End Road in the morning. In the afternoon it will leave Fernwood School and go down North End Road, turn right onto Vesuvius and only go as far as the ferry terminal. This means that the Sunset Drive and North End Road "loop" will not be serviced. Please open the attached documentations and see the info for Buses 4 and Buses 5. If the buses are running on the Snow Schedule, our process for notifying parents is to activate a parent class phone chain (in the works), putting a message on our Safe Arrival Line phone answering machine 537-5386, website updates, etc. If you have any questions or need to update your phone number, call Leah 537-9332. |
