Next Wednesday, on September 11th at 6pm, we will have a Meet the Teacher night from 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm starting in the Library.
This will be a chance for you to come to the school and hear from your child's Teacher. In particular, you will hear about class routines, learning themes for the year, communication systems, and importantly, ways that you can support literacy and numeracy at home. Even if you have already "met" your child's teacher, you can learn a lot of important information about your child's day that will help strengthen home to school communication.
This is a casual night that is not designed for one-on-one interviews with the Teacher. Those will happen on September 19th which is an early dismissal day (everyone is dismissed at 11:35 am). You will find out from your Teacher how to schedule this opportunity.

Tell Me About Your Child Opportuunity Sept 19: In addition to Meet the Teacher night September 11th, you will have an opportunity to meet with your son/daughter's teacher one on one Thursday, September 19th in the afternoon. "Tell Me About Your Child" allows the parent to communicate to the teacher their child's strengths, areas for growth, and the families hopes for the child for this year. On this early dismissal day of 11:35 am, buses go home at lunch and teachers are available to meet with you in the afternoon. Your Teacher will let you know how to sign up for a time. |
