In order to volunteer with a school a Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector level) is required. A. Criminal Record Check Information: https://sd64.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/criminal-record-checks.pdf Our School District 64 has enrolled with the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP) Applicant Based Online Service. Volunteers can complete their own criminal record requests and results will be forwarded to the School Board Office. The check is valid for 5 years and there is no cost. The online link is:https://justice.gov.bc.ca/eCRC/ and the Access code is: DNW8SBGDPQ B. If you will be driving students in a vehicle, here is what you need to do: Obtain your driver's abstract at no charge by phoning the ICBC number: 1-800-663-3051 and have it emailed to yourself then forward it to the school. You can also do it online at http://www.icbc.com/driver-licensing/getting-licensed/Pages/Your-driving-record.aspx The Volunteer Driver Form is also required. It can be obtained from the school office (this is the form where you state your vehicle make and model, insurance coverage, etc). |
