Pedestrian Safety

posted Sep 13, 2018, 2:26 PM by Leah Ashford   [ updated Sep 13, 2018, 3:21 PM ]

At this busy time of "back to school" we would like to express the importance of actively teaching, modeling and preparing students to be safe pedestrians in our parking lot and if necessary beyond it on their way to and from school.

Just a few reminders about our busy parking lot!  Please...

  • go in through the in gate and out through the out gate - this helps flow and makes drop off and pick up so much quicker
  • please do not stop to let your child out while your motor is running while there is a queue of vehicles attempting to park
  • please PARK (briefly) to drop off and pick up your child so they are not running into the parking lot with busy traffic
  • avoid parking on the roadside
  • don't block the areas where the bus needs to maneuver - the entrance and the parking area in particular
Thanks for helping us to keep drop off and pick up as stress free and SAFE as possible!!
