Safe Arrival has begun...

posted Oct 19, 2017, 9:43 AM by Leah Ashford

The Safe Arrival Program is a volunteer initiative run by Ferwnood School parents that is designed to provide families with a measure of security as children travel to school.  Safe Arrival has started. When a child has not arrived at school, and the home has not let the school know otherwise, a volunteer parent will phone home to check that the child is safely at home.  Please remember to call the SAFE ARRIVAL LINE at (250)537-5386 if your child will not be at school or if they will be late. This is the phone number that is checked by Safe Arrival volunteers.

Thank you for the parents who responded to the PAC inquiry about not wishing to participate at this time. Please call the school if you wish to removed from the call list for Safe Arrival. 250-537-9332.

If you are interested in volunteering (it's an opportunity to be in the school once or twice a month on a weekday morning for one half hour) - please let us know.
