No, that is not meant to be a tongue twister!

Please see the invitation below from Steve Dunsmuir, Grade 4-7 Teacher at Pender School about the Salish Sea Stars.

Hello all!

Our Salish Sea Stars Team (Quynn, Taeven, Lauren, Meredith, Steve and Laura) enjoyed a great trip to the Global Youth Summit on Ocean Plastic Pollution and are now busily preparing for our own youth conference: "Students for the Salish Sea Summit" to be held from the evening of Thursday, May 30 to the afternoon of Saturday, June 1 on beautiful Pender Island.
We are seeking teams of 5 (one adult advisor and four students between the ages of grade 4 and 12) who care about our oceans and would like to become a part of a caring environmental youth community while developing their communication skills. It would be great if we could attract representation from every island and every school in our district, but we're also hoping to attract teams from beyond our little corner of the universe.
Attached, you will find an information package, one-page overview, and a link to the on-line application form. I hope that will considering getting involved with a team of your own! It would be also wonderful if you can forward this message to your networks, especially those who work with youth and may want to gather a team.
Thanks!
Steve
