Scholastic Book Fair Guidelines

Please help run the Book Fair taking place the week of November 20th to November 23rd.  All proceeds go directly back to support reading!  When books are purchased, the school receives an amount it can use to buy new books on Teachers' classroom wish lists, for Learning Support Services and the Library. Last year over 200 books were added to the school as a result of the fair. A huge thank you to Susan Davenport (Jack & Henry Lee's grandmother) who has volunteered to be the organizing chair for the book fair again this year.
We have set some guidelines.
Monday is viewing only. This is where your child and their Teacher can peruse the books with the Parent Volunteers.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are for purchasing. Wednesday will be open to the public until 7 pm.
We will be communicating to students at the Whole School Meeting that creating a "wish list" of books does not mean that they will necessarily be purchased and we will also mention the responsibility of carrying cash if you decide to send your child to school to purchase books without you. Please communicate this at home too.
Volunteers are needed to run the Fair during school hours and also the Wednesday evening. Sign up here

or call the school to let us know times you would like to be in the school to lend a helping hand.
Thank you!
