Spring Break at the Library

Gaia Soul Sistahs Song Circle: Friday, March 21, 11 am – noon

·        Enjoy an hour of interactive folk songs from around the world, led by the Gaia Soul Sistahs Song Circle and Rama of Sweet Water Revolver. Children and families of all ages welcome. No registration.

 

Springtime Art with Tracy Harrison: Wednesday, March 26, 11 am.

·        Children 5 and under are invited to join artist Tracy Harrison (creator of the library dragon mural) for an hour of spring-related arts and crafts. Spring means flowers, eggs, baby bunnies, chickens, and lambs.  No registration.

 

Faces of Women We Love with Tracy Harrison: Wednesday, March 26, 1 pm.

·        Learn how to draw faces – realistic, cartoon, and abstract. In celebration of International Women’s Day and Month, we invite you to bring a picture of a women who has been helpful, important and inspiring in your life: a neighbour, mother, babysitter, grandmother, teacher, athlete, actress, writer, artist, or anyone! Ages 6 – 11. No registration.

 

Conjuring Club Performance: Friday, March 28, 3:30 pm.

·        Join the Salt Spring Conjuring Club, led by Master Magician Shaun Luttin, for its debut performance. These budding magicians are all ages, from 7 to 33. Children and families of all ages welcome to the show. No registration.
